Sandoval Wood
Founder & Co-President
Class of 2022
I'm Sandoval, a senior in the Sociology Department pursuing certificates in Chinese and Statistics & Machine Learning. I'm involved with the Men's Rugby Club, work as a research assistant for the Center for Contemporary China, and have experience learning Spanish and German. Learning foreign languages—Chinese in particular—has been a lifelong passion of mine. I wanted to create a welcoming space for students of all backgrounds and experience levels to connect with each other and engage in cultural discussion in Chinese.

Hao Cheng
Co-President
Class of 2022
I’m Howe, a senior in the Economics Department pursuing a certificate in political economy. I’m originally from Hong Kong, and I spent most of my life there. I went to a bilingual school which sparked my interest in starting this club. On campus, I’m on Princeton’s varsity squash team and spend a lot of my time training and traveling. I wanted to provide the opportunity for students to maintain and improve their Chinese in an informal, peer-to-peer setting out of the classroom.

Treasurer
Class of 2022
Hi! I’m Cheyenne, and I’m a senior concentrating in Computer Science with certificates in East Asian Studies and Cognitive Science. On campus, I’m involved with the COS Council, USG Movies Commitee, and the Asian-American Students Association. As a first-generation Chinese-American, I’m very passionate about staying in touch with my roots. I’m so excited for the Chinese Language Club to become a space for all of us to connect over the Chinese language, culture, and food!
